Simplicity-inspiration-avenue

Here is my piece for the weekly challenge. Simplicity to me is slowing down and being true to myself. And my favorite place to do that is at the mission in Carmel, California. When I set outside in the garden or in the quiet of the church, I find simplicity in my life. The peacefulness of prayer. So this collage will be my visualization piece for when I can not be there. Thank you for a wonderful challenge. I enjoy this very much.

This is such a stunning piece! It's been many years since I've visted the mission in Carmel ... but you are right ... it is a lovely, peaceful place. And you've done it proud with this representation! :)

Although it's been years since I was there, I immediately recognized the lovely domed bell tower. This is the perfect post and art representing both simplicity and perfection.

I love visiting old Missions too. We have a few here in Az. I'd love to go along the California coast to see all of them there.
