Inspiration_Avenue_Peace

This week's theme at Inspiration Avenue is peace.  This is a very near and dear to my heart theme.  I believe with every inch of my soul that we do well when that is what we seek and share with others.  My daughter one Christmas gave me a licence plate cover for my truck and it reads: Know Jesus Know Peace, No Jesus No Peace. I had so many ideas in my head for this theme and this is the one I completed. This collage is one of my favorite stamps and includes a part of the St Francis prayer of peace. Wishing all a time of peace this holiday season and through out the coming year.

We used to sing the hymn based on this prayer at school. It was always one of my favourites :)

Blogger has now corrected itself and I can once again leave comments. It wasn't you, it wasn't me, it was blogger!

This is a lovely piece with heartfelt words. Great challenge piece, too.

This is beautifully crafted and I love the Olde World feel it has to it. The gold and green coloring is quite pretty to behold, :-)

I love this St Francis prayer for peace. My first school was called St Francis and as Lisa said in her comment we also used to sing the hymn of the prayer. When we left that school we were given a bookmark with the prayer on (along with a book). It is such a lovely prayer and your beautiful artwork compliments it wonderfully. Very lovely :-) Kat X

What I REALLY LOVE about this piece is the idea of Mary and Joseph being in love...powerful!
